Adolescent & School Health
The Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) is an arm of the Centers for Disease Control. Its mission is to prevent the most serious health risk behaviors among children, adolescents and young adults. The DASH webpage contains up-to-date information on school health policies, programs, models and research.

American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) This site is designed to serve both AACAP members, parents and families. Information is provided as a public service in an effort to promote an understanding of mental illnesses and remove the stigma associated with them; advance efforts in prevention of mental illnesses, and assure proper treatment and access to services for children and adolescents.

Community Anti-Drug Coalition of America (CADCA)
CADCA's mission is to create and strengthen the capacity of new and existing coalitions to build safe, healthy and drug-free communities, by engaging concerned citizens and organizations to become more substantively involved in the drug prevention and treatment movement. The organization supports its members with technical assistance and training, public policy, media strategies and marketing programs, conferences and special events.

Healthfinder Kids
This website is maintained by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. Topics include cool and uncool stuff, safe surfing, games, art contests, kids privacy, parents, and a link to Healthfinder for adults.

National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI) (Prevention Online (PREVLINE)
NCADI, a service of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, provides a one-stop resource for current and comprehensive information about substance abuse prevention and treatment. NCADI is one of the largest Federal clearinghouses, offering more than 500 items to the public, many of which are free of charge.

Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP)
The principal purpose of ONDCP is to establish policies, priorities, and objectives for the Nation's drug control program. ONDCP operates a clearinghouse for drug policy information. The website contains links to state level contacts and information. The site also includes Drug Facts and Stats, which provides access to a wide array of drug-related data and other factual information.

SAMSHA Model Programs
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) website of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is an excellent source for information about programs that prevent or reduce substance abuse and other related high-risk behaviors. The website includes a searchable database and serves as a comprehensive resource for anyone interested in learning about and/or implementing programs that have solid proof of their effectiveness.
